Any politician claiming emotional distress 4 years later is too weak-minded or a complete liar and shouldn’t serve in Congress. Thom Tellis needs a primary and replaced, along with several others. FBI under Garland could track down thousands to intimidate, indict, and throw in prison for a misdemeanor, but couldn’t find the person who set the ‘bomb’ at DNC and RNC. Well, i'm not sure. I have a hard time calling a breaking & entering a 'tragedy', particularly when the security lapses that allowed it were almost certainly intentional. One annoyance I had with Trumps appointments was inexperience. He wanted to shake things up, but please appoint individuals with executive experience. Matt Gaetz for the vitally important Justic Department was misguided for multiple reasons. Pete Hegseth would have been perfect for Department of Veterans Affairs.
Agreed, but the thing is that not many of trump’s close friends have great relevant experience (one of the issues with an outsider running for office). So I guess he’s chosen loyalty, where he probably should’ve done more of a mix. Marco Rubio I think has done a great job and I can’t imagine there aren’t more like him 🤷♂️
Martin will still be working the same cases, as I was reading that Trump appointed him to a position that doesn’t require Senate confirmation, and includes a portfolio of the same cases that he was expected to prioritize as the head prosecutor.
