This is a long piece but worth the read. The changes in this country over the last couple of decades is startling.

Really great piece again. Very interesting how you linked the Post-modern equity enthusiasts to the feudal system - I had never thought about that before, but it seems a very apt comparison. I often think about just how anti-Lockean and illiberal these ‘equity’ proposals really are.

Great article! It’s terrifying to witness how this drift away from what has made us prosperous is not only accepted but pushed by a considerable part of the population.

Absolutely.

At the same time, it is very hard to draw a line here between self-hatred and hatred of those that have accomplished more in life.

Wow, that was the biggest load of bullshit I have read in one place in a long time!

Don't even know who the writer is, but really don't care.

Whoever wrote this piece of Trash is totally clueless.

I'll be unsubscribing now . . .

Wow really insightful critique Timothy. Maybe next time try adding some substance to your reply so as not to give away the fact that whatever you read just went over your head - as this piece clearly did.

What didn’t you like? There were so many well-written observations about how we revise outcomes we don’t like— how we seek to control those outcomes in capitalism and so many of our institutions… if we don’t talk about that, how can we talk about root causes of inequity?
