Seems like a broader observation, which encompasses many of these points, is that many positions taken by the Democratic Party are repulsive to normal Americans. Whether it’s DEI, transgender surgery for minors, boys playing in girls sports, legacy media corruption/gaslighting or forcing unproven vaccines on Americans, etc. The Dem Party has become repressive instead of progressive. It has become repulsive to normals. The Dem Party has become the home of the wealthy, self proclaimed elite who are viewed by normals for exactly what they are.

Spot on! 2024 could also be called the year the woke left finally 'jumped the shark' as far as normal American people are concerned.

Interesting article on inflection points changing the narrative. It seems we people can only be pushed so far, can only be gaslit to a certain degree, and lied to repeatedly by media before we just tune them out. You made several good points in your summary. Thank you.

Great article. One could feel the significance of 2024 while we were living it, it was obviously going to be a pivotal year, but which way would it pivot? Back to sanity or further along the DEI/trans/everyone-deserves-to-come-into-the US route. Thank God it was the path of returning to sanity, and you really put your finger on the ways the trends broke. Did I say thank God? Because.... thank God.

Hi Valerie - you're spot on here. Prior to November, the impending pivot was giving me major anxiety, as I was far from certain that logic would ultimately win out (which it did). It's obviously too early to believe we're safe, but things certainly look brighter than this time last year!

Still waiting for Europe and especially the UK and Germany to hit theirs.

Look for their Establishments to try to ban Twitter.

100% - First step is that we need to destabilize the stranglehold liberals have over Western Europe.

Not being European, I have no idea how this can be done.

I look for the former Warsaw Pact countries + the Baltics to take over the EU. Probably a vain hope.

Superb article, thank you. I, too, have felt strongly since the historic day of Aug. 23 that RFK Jr. endorsing Trump was monumental. The support for Kennedy's presidential campaign was much, *much* more significant than Mega Media and Dem propagandists would admit. And they paid dearly for it.

Thanks for reading Keith and I totally agree--the alienation of old-fashioned, principled democrats like RFK was always going to come back to bite the radicals.

That's a good summary of how many folks are starting to wake up to the idea that many so-called authorities or "experts" have been lying to them for quite a long time now. The MSM has put the final nail in their coffin due to the amount of gaslighting they've been doing for so long, and folks will no longer let them get away with it. Cheers!

Thanks for reading Joe! Indeed, the 'experts' have turned out to be some of the most dishonest people in the country. Who'd have thought it?

I hope you’re right about Trump’s “skepticism of Big Pharma”. If so, this is a recent development, as he was anything but during the pandemic. Maybe I missed it, but unlike, say, Tulsi Gabbard’s epiphany and conversion on gun rights, I don’t recall Trump having a high-profile moment when he turned on Big Pharma. Fingers crossed, though.

I’ve noticed a fundamental shift across the country that I cannot understand, even though I am part of it. Your observations are the most likely to be true. Yet I don’t think they’re The Whole Truth. I’m unsure of what is missing, and feel it may have to do with racial politics, which have become increasingly offensive to the public regardless of race. But, pending fu

Hi Bill - I agree. It’s so difficult to pinpoint the exact reasons for this surprise shift, that it almost feels as though it was deliberately planned or fomented by some swath of society (though maybe not the usual culprits).

It was deliberately planned and fomented by a swath of society called a political campaign. The campaign served as a prompt to consider the damage done to the country by the Weekend at Bernie's administration and a locus around which to gather action to depose it.

Sounds like a racist cover story to me. Unsubscribed. To make the racist feel good about themselves for voting for a criminal, crook and insurrectionist, racist instead of working for a better country. The history of America is made up of people like you normalize these diseases minds and denying real History.

As they say the racist never sleep and the never stop making stuff up. We're not racist but we created Sun down towns. We're not racist but we created redlining. We're not racist but we know only a white person can do the job. We're not racist but our schools have to be segregate. We're not racist but you can't live in my neighborhood. We're not racist but you should not be able to win in court. We're not racist why can't you succeed without government help. When there family received free land government loans and tax breaks. We're not racist but if blacks of other minority get something it all right for us to kill them burn there towns take their property and call it a riot, without consequence. We're not a racist because we stole your vote for 100 years after we gave it to you. Today there are States that allow anyone to challenge your vote without any consequences to them.

We're not racist but if a white police kills a black man that black man must have done something wrong because the white policeman is always right.

I could go on an on but the last statement is from the most truly blind supreme court chief justice John Roberts. "America is not racist because they voted for a black man." You keep telling america these fairy tales, maybe it will give America comfort, but if you know anything about American history, you know, you are spinning a new web of lies. For those that want to know the truth read a book. Oh I forgot we don't want books that tell the truth about America we will ban them because they may hurt some white child's feeling. Or make an adult hate there country. Here's to you FAFO in the coming years. Peace out.

Nothing in this article remotely supports anything you’ve said in this comment, or can honestly or fairly be construed to. Sounds like you may have benefited from a closer read, but it sounds like your mind is made up and you’re certainly entitled to whatever opinion you’ve decided to draw. No sense arguing over things we did not say and never supported. Thanks for following along on some of our earlier content!
